openzca is an open-source CLI tool that runs entirely on your local machine. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how data is handled.
2. Data We Collect
The openzca CLI tool does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. All data remains on your local machine.
Specifically:
- No analytics or telemetry: We do not track your usage, commands, or behavior.
- No account data collection: Your Zalo credentials and session data are stored locally on your device only.
- No server-side processing: openzca communicates directly between your machine and Zalo's services. We have no intermediary servers.
3. Local Data Storage
openzca stores the following data locally on your machine:
- Authentication credentials: Session tokens and cookies needed to maintain your Zalo login, stored in your user profile directory.
- Configuration files: Your preferences and account profiles.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by removing the openzca configuration directory.
4. Third-Party Services
When you use openzca, it communicates directly with Zalo's servers. This communication is governed by Zalo's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the privacy practices of Zalo or VNG Corporation.
5. Website (openzca.com)
This website is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It does not use cookies, analytics, tracking scripts, or any form of data collection. No personal information is gathered when you visit this site.
6. Open Source Transparency
openzca is fully open source under the MIT License. You can review the complete source code on GitHub to verify our privacy claims independently.
7. Children's Privacy
openzca is a developer tool not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
